The 22-year-old had been experiencing some hip pain, which was fortunately contained before today’s match. The number 2 in the world will therefore return to the field on Thursday 2 May to face the winner of the match between the Norwegian Casper Ruud and the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.
