Giorgia Zannoni, born in Chieri (TO), 26 years old, 175 cm, is the first new Italian arrival of this season. Giorgia will be Wolves’ Libero in the 2024/25 A1 Championship.
He comes from UYBA Busto Arsizio with whom he played the last 3 seasons of the A1 series.
He made his debut in the top flight with Igor Novara in 2016, with whom he won 1 Championship, 2 Italian Cups, 2 Super Cups and 1 Champions League in the 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19 seasons. Subsequently he played, again in Serie A1, for Granda Cuneo for 2 seasons.
She played in all the national youth selections, winning the U18 World Championship with the blue shirt in 2015 and the title of best Libero of the U19 European Championship in 2016. A player with great technique, she was the second Libero of the A1 last season for number of perfect receptions.
