Bar Giardino Nure Volley is Under 16 territorial champion; the team of coaches Matteo Capra, Paolo Volpini and Fabio Longinotti beat Piace Volley 3-0 in the final, winning the category title in the Final four played at home.

In the semi-final the Nure Volley girls defeated River Volley, the last qualifier for the play-offs, 3-0 (25-17, 25-1.9 25-19), and then got the better of Piace Volley who had defeated them in the other semi-final. Team 03 in the tiebreak. One-sided match in which Bar Giardino finished 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-19); River Volley took the lowest step of the podium.

«We took over a group that mostly grew up with Paola Tonna and we included some girls from other realities – comments coach Matteo Capra – who were splendid throughout the year both in the under 18s, where they ranked third, both in the under 16s, where we only lost one set during the championship. The victory in the Final Four gave us the title of provincial champions and I believe this is a reward for all the girls who demonstrated absolute seriousness from the first to the last training session.”

At the end of the final, in the presence of a large audience and the athletes of Sangiorgio’s Serie B2, the four teams were awarded by Fipav delegate councilor Marco Fava and Giuseppe Vincini, president of Pallavolo San Giorgio. The individual awards went to Sara Apponi of Piace Volley, best setter, Laura Galelli best libero, Bance Haiba best central defender and Virginia Lunardini, MVP of the Final Four, the last three all from Nure Volley.
