A rossoblù past and a present yet to be written with the dream of salvation for Ternana of which he is sporting director. Stefano Capozucca relives Genoa-Cagliari through an interview granted to L’Unione Sarda: «I am a piece of Genoa’s history, I left my heart in Cagliari and not just for the results. Cagliari is everyday life, the people who gave me affection, making me feel like one of them. Everyone, even those who are not football fans, are proud of Cagliari and for this reason Cagliari must remain in Serie A. Tonight is a draw match. Genoa will want to win, but it’s not easy to beat Cagliari.”

Capozucca relives the best of his Genoa career: «The sporting results, such as a fourth place in Serie A and the arrival of great talents like Milito. But, above all, I think of when, after the death of my daughter Federica, upon entering the Ferraris I saw a banner dedicated to her in the steps. Even now I’m moved. Worst moment? The demotion for malpractice, the famous briefcase. I was acquitted, but I still bear the signs of that suffering with the eye problem. A wound that I will carry forever.”
