Friday 3 May “Volley S3 in the square”, a federal youth circuit dedicated to the promotion and awareness of volleyball among young people, arrives in La Spezia. Appointment on the Morin walk starting from 9.30 am with the participation of Andrea Lucchetta (captain of the Generation of Phenomena) e Valerio Vermiglio, present on the fields to play together with the kids. Lucchetta, world champion in 1990, European champion in 1989 and bronze in Los Angeles 1984, and Vermiglio, double European champion and silver in Athens 2004, will offer themed games on the fundamentals of volleyball and at the same time cultural and educational activities will take place. From 9.30 to 12.30, the meeting with the students of primary and lower secondary schools (sixth grade) and from 2.30 to 5.00 pm, meeting with the FIPAV Liguria sports clubs. “It is truly a source of great pride to be able to count on the presence of two champions of the caliber of Lucchetta and Vermiglio on our territory – states Anna Del Vigo, president of FIPAV Liguria – Their experience will certainly be precious, above all to bring students closer but also to strengthen , increasingly, the passion of our young members who dream of following the same path as them in Italian, European and world volleyball”.
