ALTIMETERY

FAVOURITES

The most awaited man, given yesterday’s time trial, is obviously Juan Ayuso: the Spaniard wears the general classification leader’s jersey and will want to keep it until the end of the Giro. However, he should keep an eye out for a luxury rival like Aleksandr Vlasov: the Russian from Bora-hansgrohe was exceptional in the time trial and is therefore scary even uphill. Also in the running for victory are Ilan Van Wilder (Soudal Quick-Step) and Carlos Rodríguez (INEOS Grenadiers), but also keep an eye on a brilliant Lenny Martinez (Groupama – FDJ) uphill.
