Ariano Irpino
The spring medium distance is immersed in the enchanting valleys of Irpinia and the Foggia area among the sounds of nature. An extraordinary event, again this year taken care of down to the smallest details by the dynamic organizer Celestino Anzivino.
A cycling event valid for the 2024 Mediofondo Csi national championship. Athletes from all over Italy have come to Ariano Irpino for this event, with departure and arrival this year from the headquarters in Rione Martiri, Perazzo area. A competitive route of 96 km. The images in the video were shot by us along the state road 90 of Puglia, in the Camporeale area near Taverna delle Monache. The stages touched by the cyclists: Ariano Irpino, Montaguto, Orsara di Puglia, Panni, Monteleone Di Puglia, Savignano Irpino Ciccotonno, Difesa Grande. Over 300 participants.
Everything went excellently, thanks to a massive use of law enforcement, volunteers, motorbike relays and healthcare assistance.
For the area this year too it was one of those events that bring benefits especially in the catering sector.
In the Camporeale area, at the crossroads leading to Biogem, thanks to the active presence of a volunteer, some stray dogs were prevented from invading the road and creating serious difficulties for the ride in progress. Fortunately, the danger was averted. It is naturally a problem that must be definitively resolved in this area as it is a daily nightmare for cyclists and centaurs.
