Descriptive text here

Inside the design center, as Max Sirena, Team Director and Skipper of Luna Rossa calls it, the wish list of engineers and sailors is created and implemented. About forty people, divided into different departments: structural, naval architecture, systems, sails, mast and CFD, which deals with all the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic modeling. Luna Rossa uses both commercial software, which is then evolved according to the needs of the designers, and software entirely created within the technical office. There are various phases of component design; the first is the one in which the concept is analyzed. Once it is understood that this concept is valid, the model is refined, also through the use of the simulator, the department where only a few people can enter. Luna Rossa has developed so much technology on materials that many car manufacturers have knocked on the door requesting exchanges of know-how. Indeed, there have also been contacts with some F1 teams, where monocoque chassis are used. Luna Rossa, on the other hand, uses much more complex sandwich structures; the technology that F1 engineers are interested in.
