Funny little scene between Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev in a video produced by the ATP with the Russian tennis player himself as the main protagonist. The world number four, in fact, was interviewed and the questions came from some of his colleagues and among these there was also the South Tyrolean, who asked the Russian something very specific, receiving back a very detailed response also full of compliments.
“How can you answer from so far away on the pitch?”, this is the question that Sinner has placed Medvedevcertainly analyzing one of the main characteristics of the Russian tennis player, who is probably among the players who stays furthest from the baseline when he has to respond.
As soon as he saw Sinner on video, Medvedev smiled and immediately complimented the blue: “I think Jannik has a talent talent, yes Jannik you really have a great talent and you can also try to answer like this. You’ll see that you’ll be capable of it.”
Medvedev then continues his response, explaining that maybe Sinner doesn’t need to stay so far behind: “I’m not sure you need that with your game. However, it is easy when you return from so far away to shoot the ball even harder over the net, also because if you are so far from the net it is difficult to make a mistake. That’s why I play like this.”
