Leclerc-Sainz tension after contact during the race

Moments of tension between the two Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz during the Sprint Race of the Chinese GP. After attempting to overtake Fernando Alonso, Sainz he was in fact hit at turn 9 by the former Ferrari driver, causing damage to the car. Leclerc at that point he followed in the wake of his teammate on the long straight leading to turn 14, attacking him on the outside. At that point Sainz defended himself harshly, too much according to Leclerc, coming into wheel-to-wheel contact with the Monegasque.

“We will have to discuss, as we have always done in these cases. I’m not worried, we’ll talk about it and clarify it,” said Leclerc at the end of the race, annoyed by what happened. Alonso was then sanctioned for the contact with Sainz: for the Spaniard 10 seconds of penalty and -3 points on the license.
