Goodbye to rain on motorbikes, the accessory that changes the lives of motorcyclists: it will be very easy now

The problem of rain for motorcyclists will seem like a distant memory and it will be enough to have an innovative and ingenious accessory available.

There are different problems that a centaur has to face more than a motorist, with the first of these undoubtedly being linked to rain. When you go by car you are still covered and sheltered, which is why there are no problems returning home dry and in perfect condition.

Naturally the situation changes quite a bit when you decide to take a motorbike ride under water. This choice even becomes forbidden when the rain turns into snow, with the icy road surface becoming completely impassable.

Nowadays, however, we often go from splendid sunny days to hours in which the wind and rain reign supreme. In most cases all this ruins a motorcycle trip and thus causes a return home completely wet and not in the best conditions.

Now, however, we are in a historical period in which large companies are trying as much as possible to create a series of innovations that can make life easier. A truly very interesting project is that of the Indian giant Sepal, a reality that has recently come to light for the design of a particular barrier called “Shield”.

Sepal Shield: how the rain shield works

Innovations in the world of two wheels are now commonplace, but perhaps only a few would have imagined the design by Sepal of the Shield. We are faced with a huge windshield which is equipped with a roof that allows it to be protected from the rain, but at the same time also guarantees significant technological development.

In fact, the latter not only has the task of avoiding problems for the driver, but also features a navigator which allows the road ahead to be clearly visible. The important thing, as the Indian company also underlines, is that this barrier must not be interpreted by the biker as a way to avoid using a helmet.

It is in fact an additional accessory which, in addition to guaranteeing shelter from the rain, also provides help in the event of an accident or skidding, but does not eliminate the risk. According to what he reports “Motorcycling”, this idea was initially born almost as a joke, as if it were a project without great expectations, but which in the end turned out to be innovative and successful.

Sepal he explained that the idea came precisely from the fact that those at the top of the company who design this material are centaurs themselves and understand its difficulties and problems. It took three years of work and experimentation to arrive at the long-awaited final project which in the end was able to produce the desired results. This innovative windshield also has a very low cost, given that only 75 Euros it can be added on all hands thanks to its practical fixing system.
