From 21st to 26th April theIrpinia Sannio it is tinged, once again, with blue! The Campania Regional Committee and the IRPINIA SANNIO Territorial Committee await the arrival of the blue staff for three events that will project our territory on a national level. In the splendid Sports Hall of Montefusco, made available by the Academy Volley School, six days of top-level youth volleyball.
It starts on April 21st with Internship of the National Youth Women’s Team. The best athletes arriving from the territorial, regional and national selection processes will participate in an internship entrusted to the Technical Director of the national youth women’s teams, prof. Marco Mencarelli and the federal technician prof. Pasquale d’Aniello. The national stage is in fact the first step towards the formation of national groups that participate, over time, in the various international tournaments and which are the reservoir of the senior national volleyball team, always at the top of international volleyball.
From the 23rd to the 26th it is the turn of the SOUTHERN ITALIA CLUB. The selection process also involves the formation of geographically nearby working groups with periodic training meetings. It is an opportunity to see the best athletes from SOUTHERN ITALY at work, who could be the champions of the future, and the technicians from the territories responsible for the local project. On April 24th, Regional Day Campania will see 18 athletes under 15, selected by the technical structure, for an update to the previous meeting held in 2023, and who will be projected into future top volleyball scenarios.
