changes to traffic and parking in Lower Romagna

On the morning of Sunday 21 April, the territory of Lower Romagna will be affected by the passage of the 87th Giro di Romagna, which will start from Lugo and pass through Sant’Agata sul Santerno, Conselice, Bagnacavallo, Fusignano and Bagnara di Romagna. To ensure the competition takes place, closures will be put in place along the roads affected by the passage of cyclists 15 minutes before their transit.

Specifically, the streets involved will be the following: in Lugo via della Libertà, via Acquacalda, via Foro Boario, viale de’ Brozzi and the provincial road 253 San Vitale; in Sant’Agata sul Santerno the Sp 13 via Bastia, the Sp 253 San Vitale; at Ca’ di Lugo and San Lorenzo the Sp 26 via Fiumazzo and the intersection towards Belriletto with the Sp 17; in San Bernardino the intersection with Via Bastia; in Giovecca via Gradizza; in Conselice via Selice; to San Patrizio via Canalazzo; in Massa Lombarda the provincial roads 253 San Vitale and 12 via Santa Lucia; in Bagnacavallo the Sp 119; in San Potito the Sp 41; in Fusignano the Sp 17; in Bagnara di Romagna the Sp 21. The roads will be closed starting 15 minutes before the race starts.

Some parking bans will also be established in Lugo: from 2.30pm to 6.30pm on Saturday 20 April parking ban with removal in viale Orsini on the right side of the road towards the station – via Baracca, in the stretch between the station roundabout and via Ariosto.
From 7am to 12pm on Sunday 21 April parking ban with removal on both sides in viale Orsini, via Baracca (section between via Codazzi and via Sassoli), via Codazzi, via della Libertà (section between piazza Baracca and via Acquacalda), Largo Relencini.

Local police personnel, other law enforcement agencies and volunteers will be present along the entire route to ensure the correct running of the event starting from around 10.30 am. For further information you can consult the Giro della Romagna website www.extragiro.it.
