Sofia Goggia lets a few tears escape when he talks about his injury and the possibility of saying goodbye to the world of alpine skiing. The Italian champion confessed to the microphones of Fis Ski, the international federation of the world of skiing, in which, however, she also spoke about the stages leading up to her return.

In the first 20 days I saw no future for myself on skis, but I would never be able to have an emotion similar to the one you feel at the starting gate so I will try to keep going as long as possible”.

The recovery phase seems to be proceeding in the best possible way and for Sofia Goggia it’s already time to start looking towards the future and returning to skiing: “Now I feel better and I hope to be able to ski again soon, we are going well with the recovery phases and with my physical condition. I think I’ll go back to skiing in July, we’ll go to South America but we don’t have a specific date yet”. And the very hard training sessions that the Italian champion described moment by moment continue, Sofia wanted to share her recovery journey on social media with the latest videos which demonstrate that the leg is perfectly healthy and capable of withstanding the heavy workloads.
