Nadal gains over 100 positions in the ATP rankings! And he can reach over 500 in Barcelona…

The Iberian Rafael NadalIn the first round of the main draw of the ATP 500 tournament in Barcelonain which he took advantage of the protected ranking for access to the main draw, he beat the tennis player Italian Flavio Cobolli and he forfeited 25 points for access to the second round.

Nadal, who in yesterday’s update of the official ranking was 644th at 50thanks to this success leaps in virtual 510th place at 75, gaining 134 positions. With a success at second round the Iberian would lead to share 100, in 445th virtual place.

A victory for the eighths would send it to 150, in virtual 344th placewhile bringing in semi-final Spanish would go to the Virtual 236th place, at 250 pointswhile the landing in final would send him to 380, in virtual 163rd placefinally the success in the tournament would move him up to 550, in virtual 112th place.
