The results obtained over the weekend by the Parabiago teams
Parabiago- Excellent performances and results characterized the weekend of the Rossoblù Seniores and Juniores, starting from the men’s First XV and the Rugby Parabiago Women both victorious away from home, passing through the Cadet, the Under 18 and the Under 16.
The First XV wins 28 to 12 in Asti with Monferrato Rugby, after a match that didn’t go well for our colors in the first minutes, with an initial run of 12-0 for the Piedmontese. Only at the end of the first half did the Galletti manage to score a try and return to the field after the break with more concentration and determination, managing to overturn the result in the second half with three tries converted by Silva Soria.
“We are happy to have regained control of the match – is the comment of the Technical Director of the Club Daniele Porrino. At the start of the race we got a bit caught up in the frenzy and the desire to score a lot of points straight away. This led us to not think and we went two goals down. We then regained some peace of mind and, putting the game back on track, we managed to take control of the situation again. We need it, it’s experience for the next three games which will be very important. We have to be patient, we have to work hard in the next training sessions and get to the next matches in the best possible way and then we’ll see how they go. We are very happy for the debut of Jacopo Sala, born in 2007 who played with us for 80 minutes and had an excellent performance, congratulations indeed for this very positive debut.”
The team’s away match was also positive Rugby Parabiago Women who beat San Mauro Torinese 47 to 5 in Aosta.
“A very positive match from many points of view – Technical Director of the Women’s Sector Riccardo Rizzo tells us. We weren’t used to this climate, we played in the first atrocious heat not only for us, obviously, but also for our opponents. In the Men’s Serie C Championship, excellent performance and excellent result for the Cadetta, who beat Fiumicello 32 to 21. A match that saw our colors win with the satisfaction of the staff, as can be seen from the words of Head Coach Andrea Musazzi.
“We had asked the boys for a strong reaction to last Sunday’s bad stop and so it was, both from the point of view of the game and above all in the attitude and desire to express the character and pride of this group which, despite their young age , since the beginning of the season it has held its own against all its opponents. Fiumicello currently occupies second position and until now had only lost to league leaders Sondrio: this should make us proud. We were good at winning the duel with their scrum and often putting their three-quarters in difficulty, both with good foot management and with good hand actions, trying every time we showed up in their 22 to bring points to ours scoreboard. However, it was an adverse result for the rossoblù boys in the regional championship, who lost to Sondalo despite a good team performance, highlighted by Coach Youssef Darbal.
“The staff is very satisfied with what the boys showed on the pitch – He tells us. The commitment and will shown on the pitch were commendable for both teams, everyone gave 100%. It was another step in their growth journey and this pushes us coaches to give even more, to offer them other content to help them go further and have more and more fun, which is very important, beyond the results.”

They all performed very well, fighting and putting everything they had on the pitch, also achieving good results. I believe that this weekend the Club really did something important for its growth and is carefully continuing the training path of the young athletes.”
