What difficulties do you expect to have with Ducati here and what advantages?
“Let’s see, it’s a bike with a different concept, it needs to be ridden differently, the Honda was very strong in stop and go, we’ll see how Ducati goes, I’ll try to be smooth, I’ll try to have fun. Two-three riders will be very fast because they have been fast here in the past. At the moment we made the top 5 but we didn’t fight for the podium (in the Sunday races, ed.)”
On the characteristics of the Austin track…
“There are more left-hand corners than right-hand corners and this is the main difference, and then many stop-and-go corners, and here I won for the first time in MotoGP”
MotoGP and F1: what is needed for the former to reach the latter in popularity?
“What they have done in F1 is enormous, the goal is to get to the younger ones with big names like Valentino, Pedrosa Lorenzo and others in the past”
