Guest of Francesca Fialdini in the episode of “From us to free wheel” broadcast on Sunday 28 December 2025 is Fabio Caninowhich you got to know during your recent experience at “Dancing with the Stars”, where he was one of the jurors. The presenter placed second, but there was no shortage of controversy linked to her return to the competition after a bad injury which, however, had not convinced some of the other competitors in the race. In fact, there were even those who doubted whether she had really hurt herself.
However, it was impossible not to recognize her talent, to the point that almost everyone considered her the likely winner, and instead it was Andrea Delogualso facilitated by social voting.

From us freewheeling, episode 28 December 2025: Francesca Fialdini interviews Fabio Canino
Upon entering the studio, Fabio Canino immediately complimented her: “First of all, congratulations, I watched the program every Saturday, you were really great, despite that jury”. The juror continues with his ironic attitude: “Those jurors should be changed, there is only one very good and sexy one, from Florence, I don’t know if you remember him”. She obviously pretends not to remember, which is why he responds with “Rude“.
The presenter asks him for his opinion on the edition that recently ended, also thanks to his long experience in this role: “If I have to be honest, it was heavy, there were several structured characters, already famous, who found it difficult to let go, they were afraid of conspiracies. But we are there to help, even if it seems incredible, they don’t pay us depending on who wins, otherwise I would have let Mrs. Coriandoli win if she had paid me”. Fialdini immediately says: “Be careful how you speak, I will confront you with your own words”, which is why he replies: “I dissociate myself from myself.” It cannot be ruled out that his sentences are a reference, not even a very subtle one, to Barbara D’Ursocertainly the leading name of this edition, but who offered little in terms of the show, it is no coincidence that he criticized her several times during the various episodes.
Now that the presenter has experienced up close what it means to be part of “Dancing with the Stars” he is keen to underline how important the task of the jury is, which must expose the competitors, as well as restructure them: “With some we succeed, with others we don’t, there are those who come ready to let themselves go like you did, while others are convinced that we won’t succeed, but this is worse for them. In fact, the public wants to get to know them, not because we want to mind other people’s business, but because we like to get to know who we think we know on television”.
The interview is also an opportunity for Canino to retrace his professional past: “I started in 1997 with Boncompagni at ‘Macao’, I was also taken at ‘Le Iene’, when Boncompagni told me he wanted me I called ‘Le Iene’ and said: ‘Forgive me, if you want me I’ll come next year, I can’t help but go to whoever invented the Carrà’. My parents were happy, they always supported me even when I did theater before popular television. My mother went to the shops, they told her they had me seen, he was taking it a bit, while my father didn’t express it. Everything changed when he had recently passed away and I went with my brother to empty the house, in his bedside drawer I found all the articles that concerned me since the beginning of my career, I still get emotional thinking about it. When I saw this I felt a wave of love, more than I already knew he felt for me, his archive really moved me.”
Canino also spoke about the good relationship he has with his brother: “He’s really different from me, I called him Rambo, I was very precise, he loves horses, dogs, the countryside, but we earned each other mutual respect, a relationship that remains even today. I want to point out, he is 7 years older than me.”
Love at 60 and for Raffaella Carrà
The “Dancing with the Stars” juror also wants to have his say on theamore: “I am proof that love can happen to anyone, I’m not saying that to be nice. Until I was 60 I hadn’t found the person who could become my life partner. Emanuele is a beautiful person, I like that he has his own life, he is a stylist, he doesn’t want to do anything in show business, he doesn’t like to be seen with me. It’s what I’ve been looking for all my life, but I found it interesting. We met through work in Rome, he brought me a jacket for a show, and we never parted ways from there.”
However, Canino has never hidden the great love that binds him to Raffaella Carrà: “Io I had received a ‘carrambata’ while I was at the theatre, some people had thought it was normal, which is why every evening people arrived convinced that she was there. That was my first and last outing as a rock star, with the police taking me away.”
