Tonight on Rai 2, La follia della mia gemella will be broadcast, a thriller that tells the story of two twins who end up swapping places.
A dangerous exchange of identity is the one proposed in My Twin’s Madnessthriller film titled in original language My Stolen Life. Distributed during 2022 and directed by Dylan Vox, it arrives this evening – Saturday, June 29, 2024 – on first TV on Rai 2 starting at 9.20pm.
My Twin’s Madness, the plot, the cast and the trailer of the thriller film
The protagonist of My Twin’s Madness is Tracy Wrey, a young woman who, following the accidental and tragic death of her father, ends up in a psychiatric center, crushed by strong feelings of guilt. In that center of hers Tracy will spend the next 15 years of her life, while his twin sister Jennifer continues her life undisturbed. She is now a very famous writer of romance novels and, on the occasion of the anniversary of her father’s death, she decides to visit Tracy at the psychiatric center. She latter takes the opportunity and, in a very mean way, she ends up drugging her twin sister to take her place. While Jennifer will remain at the center pretending to be who she isn’t but against her will, Tracy will take her place.
What she couldn’t know, however, is that Jennifer’s life is far from simple or perfect. She will have to deal with the hatred of her teenage daughter (an unmotivated hatred in her eyes), a lover younger than her who will tend to blackmail her and the president of her fan club who is obsessed with her to the point of following her everywhere. Having to deal with too many unknowns, Tracy will also feel the lack of the drugs she needs. Jennifer and Tracy play the twins Nicole Marie Johnson. The cast is made up of Kate Edmonds, Dominick Ficco, Scout Smith, Jonathan Stoddard e Emerson Niemchick. A dramatic thriller, the one proposed in prime time on Rai 2, distributed in the United States by Lifetime Television in 2022 and lasting 92 minutes.
