Bollate, 24 June 2024 – Some traces found in the very first phase of the investigations investigative reports suggest that he climbed over the fence to escape, but there are also those who think that he left directly from the carriage door taking advantage of the comings and goings and his status as a “delivered” prisoner. That is, free to move around the penitentiary institution to reach the mechanical workshop where he worked every day and then return to his cell.

One thing is certain: on Saturday morning the multiple criminal Cristian Filippo Braidich, born in Benevento on 17 November 1982 but considered one of the leading exponents of the family who he has chosen the White Houses as his fortress between viale Testi and viale Sarca, he disappeared into thin air. “The prisoner, of Roma ethnicity, with the end of his sentence in 2032, working at the regional workshop and ‘undelivered’, left at 10am yesterday morning (Saturday, ed.), probably leaving the prison block, and only last night at 10pm during the count did they notice the escape. From a subsequent check of the cell in which he was confined, it was found that there were no longer any personal effects or anything else and therefore the escape had certainly been premeditated”, he said. And again: “The escape reopens the wound of the conditions of the Bollate structure and therefore the inefficiency of an administration which, despite continuous reports, continues to ignore the problems: it is unacceptable that escapes in such a daring way still occur today only why exactly the administration has not yet carried out the necessary structural interventions“.

Braidich was finished (again) behind bars in April 2021arrested together with 36 other people following an anti-drug investigation by the soldiers of the Compagnia Duomo on a massive drug dealing ring in Piazza Prealpi: in particular, the then thirty-eight year old was accused of having sold 11 kilos of hashish on January 27, 2019. On October 29, 2020, the Court of Cassation then also made final a plea agreement against him for receiving stolen goods and illegal possession and carrying of firearms.
The same crimes alleged against Cristian Filippo Braidich at dawn on 10 June 2019 he fell into the saddle of a Ducati Panigale in Corso Como and fired some gunshots, probably after an argument that took place in front of a bar a few hours earlier. The Carabinieri investigators handcuffed him forty days later in Varazze, Liguria, surrounding the apartment where he had taken refuge.
