In the early hours of the morning, the carabinieri intervened Tuoro sul Trasimeno (PG) inside a house where shortly before, a man of Moroccan origins, at the height of a dispute for reasons still under investigation, stabbed his cohabiting partner.
When the 118 staff arrived on site, alerted by a relative of the couple and a neighbor who had heard the screams in the middle of the nightthe attacker fled on foot through the streets of the city center.

The searches, activated immediately and carried out by the soldiers of Città della Pieveof the local station and by staff of the Operational Intervention Company (CIO) of the CC Toscana Battalion of Florence made it possible to track down the 34-year-old presumed responsible at 3am, blocking him in the town centre, with his blood-stained clothes still on him.
The victim, the same age as the attacker, was transported urgently to the hospital in Perugia, where she was immediately subjected to delicate surgery which is still underway, finding herself in grave danger to her life following the serious injuries and bleeding resulting from the numerous blows that affected her lung and intestine.

During the attack, the couple’s 5-year-old daughter, who was apparently present, was also hit in his mother’s armshits from the blade to the lower limbs.
The minor, who is not in danger of life, was transported to the pediatric emergency room of the Perugian hospital, waiting to undergo an urgent operation.
Investigations are currently underway, including of a technical-scientific nature, by the Carabinieri Surveys Section of the Investigative Unit of Perugiaaimed at clarifying the exact dynamics of the facts and reconstructing what happened in detail, just as searches are underway for the weapon that the alleged attacker apparently got rid of during the escape.
The 34-year-old, declared under arrest for the crimes of attempted murder against his partner and very serious injuries caused to her daughter, is currently being interrogated by theJudicial authority at the Carabinieri Provincial Command of Perugia, at the end of which he will be transferred to the Perugia prison.
