Cupra it is a very fascinating reality within the international automotive panorama, because although it has a young history behind it – just six years have passed since its split from Seat – its growth has been exponential. Indeed, the Spanish brand of Volkswagen Group raise the bar and aim to climb even further up the pyramid. The new ambitious project has a name: Cupra Tavascan. After showing the prototype a few years ago, Cupra puts the 100% electric SUV-Coupé into production with a good amount of enthusiasm. Cupra Tavascan introduces itself
The ambition of Cupra Tavascan is to be the true flagship of the Iberian brand, placing itself above all the other cars in the range. Legitimate aspirations, even if at the moment it seems impossible to replicate the undisputed success achieved by Formentor. Surely, Tavascan will not lack the elements to play her game well, given that she has some aces in her hand.
The car stands out on the scene with a sleek silhouette, high wheels and a low roof. However, the car has quite generous dimensions, given that the length reaches a height 4.64 meters with a wheelbase of 276 centimetres, which allows it to show off excellent habitability. The capacity of trunk, Instead, starts at 540 litres. Overall, its lines are harmonious and smoothed by the wind, just as the internal space is original, a modern and youthful living cell, designed to face all the challenges of tomorrow and to satisfy a dynamic clientele.
The car was designed at Cupra headquarters in Martorellnear Barcelona, e assembled in the east of China to Hefei, at VW Anhui Automotive, a joint venture of the German giant. All this should not be surprising, in the economy of scale these operations are completely natural and serve to reduce costs, also to the advantage of the end user.
Strong personality

Two versions for Cupra Tavascan
Cupra Tavascan arrives on the market with two different versions, but both equipped with 77 kWh battery. The first is called Endurancesingle rear engine with 286 HP of power and 545 Nm of torque, credited with a autonomy Of 568 kilometers. In this case the performance is: 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds. The other is the VZ which means Veloz, equipped with a rear electric engine and a second 109 horsepower front engine, capable of generating a system power of 340 HP, discharged to the ground by the all-wheel drive.
The autonomy, at this juncture, drops to 522 km, but the performance improves: 5.5 seconds from 0-100 km/h.
