The comments aroused by the shots, however, focused more on the look than on the birth of this new love. Many have harshly criticized the two for the way they dressed to go shopping. Giano Del Bufalo took to Instagram to respond to the criticisms.

Giano Del Bufalo responded to the hateful comments that rained down under the photos showing him with Giulia De Lellis while they went shopping. He in shorts and a T-shirt and she in a maxi shirt, socks and slippers. The antiques dealer and brother of the actress Diana Del Bufalo explained in a story published on Instagram:
