In 1990 Laura Valente joined and performed, for the first time in the new lineup, in 1991, live, in Amsterdam. They took part in the Sanremo Festival in 1992, then in Cantagiro and Festivalbar.

As for his private life, Laura Valente was with Pino Mango from 1983 until the day of his death, which occurred on December 8, 2014, after a heart attack while performing in a charity concert at the PalaErcole in Policoro. The two had married ten years earlier, in 2004, and had two children, Filippo (born in 1995) and – obviously – Angelina, in 2001. Mango was performing one of his most famous songs, “Oro”, in moment he felt ill on stage. And it was precisely that song that also marked the meeting with his beloved Laura.
