L’North African anticyclone, accompanied by a very warm air mass of sub-tropical origin, reached the Mediterranean and our central-southern regions, resulting in a weekend of stable weather. Its action will also continue in the coming days in the South and in Sicily: the current projections, in fact, indicate that the intense heat, with temperatures even above 35 degrees, will persist in the extreme southern regions throughout the first part of next week. In Sicily they will also touch each other peaks around 40 degrees. The absence of precipitation and the “African heat” will only further aggravate the drought conditions.
The Northern Italy instead he will find himself involved in a wet and very unstable flow: and the days will be like this at least until mid-week mostly cloudy and rainy with anchor risk of heavy rain; temperatures will record values even lower than seasonal averages. On Sunday the 9th in particular, the first disturbance (number 4 of the month) will arrive from the Iberian Peninsula widespread and even very intense phenomena (with possible storms And hailstorms).
