Dave Mustaine, “Teemu Mäntysaari is the guitarist I’ve been looking for for a long time”

In a new interview with Alejandrosis, the leader of the MEGADETH, Dave Mustaineonce again praised the new guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari:

“Teemu he’s a monster. He’s the musician I’ve been looking for for a long time. I ask him to learn a song, he learns it. I ask him to learn a solo, he learns it. I ask him to learn a vocal part, he learns it. Plus he has a really great right hand. He is very similar to mine. And I love watching him play and I love watching him learn, because he learns faster than anyone else. He rekindled my interest in this art. Before he came along, I didn’t consider the guitar as something I needed every day. Sometimes I wouldn’t touch it for a couple of days. Now I always want to play, rehearse, review solos and I’m always ready to rock.”

THE MEGADETH they will play in Italy on a single date to be held on June 17, 2024 at Alcatraz in Milan.
