“QuidMood” arrives, the voice of young people on Radio Codogno

The radio program by young people for young people was born in Codogno, to discuss current events and the territory. For now, “QuidMood” is broadcast on the frequencies of Radio Codogno and online on the Radio Codogno website one Sunday a month, from 8.45pm to 10pm, after catechesis. The radio project was born as an idea in September 2023 at the San Luigi youth center, but came to fruition in February 2024. The management of the program is entrusted to the volunteer Carla Gambarini under the supervision of Monsignor Iginio Passerini, parish priest, and Don Manuel Forchetto, coadjutor. The speakers and hosts of the program are five secondary school girls: Greta, Matilde, Sofia, Rachele and Claudia who deal with the entertainment area and give direct opinions on the topics covered; guests and related interviews are edited by Riccardo Scalmani and Corrado Soffiantini. «The idea of ​​QuidMood was born from the desire to create a program made by young people for young people, in which to deal with important issues, also bringing concrete testimonies present in the territorial reality of Codogno and surrounding areas – explains Carla -: it is not necessary to appear on the radio, but it is important to have something to say and in the age of social media, in which we are much more used to watching, we wanted to bring attention to the importance of speaking and knowing how to listen” ; this year’s themes were chosen together with the kids – he specifies -; the common thread? It is summarized in the title of the program, “QuidMood”, the meaning, the meaning, the uniqueness of our state of mind in living our lives makes the difference.” For this reason, people who have left a mark in the community were hosted: guests linked to social issues and oratory experience.
