There is no actor with a high-sounding name who over the last decade has not been spotted by the production of this or that cinecomic: Jon Hamm is no exception, but the Mad Man star was able to say no to projects that didn’t convince him, also managing (unlike Ryan Reynolds) to avoid a big pitfall.
In fact, we know well how much the Deadpool actor himself has joked about his on several occasions green Lantern (the role, among other things, was also rejected by Sam Worthington): Hamm could have been in his place, but he had the foresight to realize that the project was not starting off with the best premises.
“Of course, it’s not like they asked me to do Iron Man. But there was a lot of chatting, and there still are. I talk to the Marvel and DC guys every now and then. Plus, I’m a comic book nerd, so we’ll see.
