Burglary in the home of TV presenter Caterina Balivo in Parioli: the alarm was raised by the TV personality herself upon her return home on Sunday night after a holiday in Sardinia and other locations, as she herself posted on social media in recent days. According to a police reconstruction, the thieves climbed up to the balcony of her apartment and then managed to open a French window to enter the building from which they stole valuable watches, including Rolexes, jewels, designer bags for a value of approximately 300 thousand euros. It cannot be ruled out that the bandits are the same ones responsible for numerous thefts in the capital in recent times, always using the same technique.
Investigations by the Villa Glori police station
The TV presenter, married since 2014, reported the incident on Monday morning with the manager and writer Guido Maria Brera, author of «I Diavoli» among othersfrom which a television series was made on Sky. The couple has two children. The apartment was also inspected by investigators from the scientific police and the Flying Squad in search of any traces left by the criminals that could lead to their identification. Also being examined images from security cameras which are located in the area and it seems also in the targeted building.
