The demonstration has reached its end 77th editionwill in fact open on May 14th, and as previously announced, the opening film that will be screened at the end of the inaugural ceremony will be Le Deuxième Acte (international title: The Second Act), new film of the tireless Quentin Dupieux which features protagonists Léa Seydoux, Vincent Lindon, Louis Garrel, Manuel Guillot and Raphaël Quenard.
Not much is known about the film up to now, except that it will be distinctly cinematic and, as always in Dupieux’s cinema, decidedly crazy. All this appears confirmed by first official trailer for Le Deuxième Acte which we show you below, followed by the summary official plot of the film.
Florence wants to introduce David, the man she is madly in love with, to her father Guillaume. But David is not attracted to Florence and wants to throw her into the arms of her friend Willy. The four characters meet in a restaurant in the middle of nowhere.
