There is not Tron without Jeff Bridges, or at least there has never been so far: the star of The Big Lebowski was present in both films in the saga, inaugurating the franchise in 1982 with the iconic first chapter and then returning in 2010 on the occasion of that sequel considered by many to be quite underrated. Will it be like this this time too?
The question, until now, had not been answered: Disney had recently shown us Jared Leto at work on the set of Tron: Ares, avoiding however to comment on any rumors about the possible return of the actor most representative of the series.
Hope, however, is the last to die… And this time it has no intention of taking its last breath! With a photo shared on social media via the official Disney profiles, the production has in fact made official the presence of Jeff Bridges in the cast of this highly anticipated third chapter: “Jeff Bridges returns to the Network” we read in the caption of the photo which portrays the actor intent on taking a look at the script on the set of the film directed by Joachim Rønning.
Together with Jeff Bridges, in Tron: Ares we will also find the aforementioned Jared Leto, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson: a very respectable cast for a film on which considerable expectations weigh! Here, in the meantime, you will find everything you need to know about this Tron: Ares.
