The films of ScaryMovie form a series of popular parodies of the most famous cinematic horror films. The ScaryMoviefrom 1 to 5, were released at the cinema from 2000 to 2013. They revisit in a cult comic key such as Scream, Halloween – The night of the witches, The Shining, The sixth sense, Signsthe film series of Matrix and the TV series of Buffy.

In recent times, horror has continued to have one success after another at the box office: let’s talk about films like Five Nights at Freddy’s, Smile And M3GAN. The latter are noisier and in a certain sense orthodox horror, but in the meantime a new trend that is figuratively more controlled and full of psychological implications has allowed directors like Robert Eggers or Ari Aster to emerge. I watch films and play video games, from a certain point in life I also started writing about them. I am fascinated by the remote corners of the internet, the graphics of the first 3D video games and the images that fall under the not at all defined umbrella of the term aesthetic, with respect to which I carry out a compulsive cataloging activity which has as its point of arrival some Instagram profiles. However, the TV series with the best aesthetics (and the best overall) is The X-Files, which I never ended up not conceiving the thought “there are no more episodes of The X-Files to watch for the rest of my life”. Same thing with Evangelion (the manga).
