It was highly anticipated and the first one has finally arrived trailer in Italian of the film Joker 2with the main actors Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga intent on doing a pas de deux that will keep everyone glued to the big screen. The feature film, again directed by Todd Phillipsas the previous Joker of 2019, is expected in cinemas on October 2nd. The character played by Joaquin Phoenix will finally find a love, crazy like him, obviously. Now he is no longer alone.

After the success of the first film, which allowed Joaquin Phoenix to win the Oscar for best leading actor in 2020, the actor returns to the role of Arthur Fleck. The big news, as mentioned, is that he is no longer alone and in the trailer this is precisely the starting point. When Joker is asked what has changed, he replies, “It has changed that I am no longer alone.”
The title of the second chapter Joker: Folie à Deux refers to the French name for a psychiatric syndrome, in which one individual transmits to another the symptom of psychosis, unleashing a kind of communal madness. A symptom that we will see again perfectly in the two protagonist characters, played by Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, in the role of Harley Quinn (which we have already seen at the cinema with Margot Robbie’s interpretation in the films Suicide Squad, Birds of Prey and the phantasmagorical rebirth of Harley Quinn And The Suicide Squad – Suicide mission).

The new film will mainly talk about the period spent by Joker at Arkham Asylum, the criminal asylum where he was locked up after the chaos caused in Gotham City following the murder of a TV host. In this sequel there is an “early version” of Harley Quinn. There Dr. Harleen Quinzel she is a psychiatrist who works in the penitentiary: here she meets Arthur Fleck and plans with him to escape. There are many musical elements that we will see again in the film, as already announced by the director.
