These are busy hours for Marvel fans: after the latest updates on the Mutant Saga, with a projection into the future of the franchise, we return to the present to talk once again about Fantastic 4the highly anticipated new MCU film coming out in summer 2025.
In the hours following the official announcement of Julia Garner in the role of Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four, in fact, the famous Deadline journalist Justin Kroll appeared on X to share with his followers information that is as obvious as it is precious: the main villain of Fantastic 4 will be Galactus, with the journalist definitively confirming the already insistent rumors that have emerged in recent months regarding the film. “It seems obvious to say this given the news of the Silver Surfer’s casting but yes, Galactus will be the main villain of the film“, wrote Kroll, specifying however that currently the role is still without an actor and that no star has a formal offer: “The role is currently available and there is no one in negotiations or with an offer in hand.”
The last time we heard about it – and in this regard it must be said that, at least so far, all the rumors relating to Fantastic 4 that have emerged in recent months/years are slowly turning out to be true – the role of Galactus was associated with Javier Bardemand before that to Antonio Banderas, who before the film’s postponement had seemed very close to getting the part.
