The new Fantastic 4 poster published by Marvel Studios on the occasion of day 4/4 gave fans a first official look at the look of the Human Torch by Joseph Quinnbut dazzled by Johnny Storm’s flames, many fans didn’t notice a probably very important detail.
Take a more careful look at the poster, which for your convenience we have made available again at the bottom of the article: in the lower right corner, in perspective, you can glimpse the New York skyline, but don’t you also notice something incredibly wrong? Exact, that New York City is totally different than the one in the MCUlooks like a retro-futuristic city with a completely new skyline compared to what we have seen so far in the films of the Marvel Studios saga.
The clue seems to confirm once again the rumors according to which Fantastic 4 will be set in the 1960s of an alternative universe, one in which scientific progress has skyrocketed thanks to the mere existence of Reed Richards, the most intelligent man in the world: according to rumors, this reality will be threatened by Incursions occurring throughout the Multiverse and which will force the Fantastic 4 to take action in the vast context of the Multiverse Saga.
The film is expected to be released in July 2025, with filming set to begin in August. We are waiting for new announcements: after the casting of Silver Surfer, it will presumably be the turn of Galactus…
