Favara with Antonio Todaro will also be the protagonist of the great event on Saturday, 6 April 2024, at the Metropolitan theater in Catania with the actor Giancarlo Giannini in the show “A journey to meet Mimì”, the latest film by the Sicilian author and director Alfredo Lo Piero, with Giancarlo Giannini. A return after 50 years to the same places that inspired the Ligurian actor before playing MIMÌ METALLURGICO by Lina Wertmüller.
The film being presented is a documentary created to pay homage to the beauties of our land, using the extraordinary local workers. And in fact it fell to the young man from Favaro, Antonio Todaro, to take care of the editing and sound of the film. A collaboration between Giannini and Todaro born from the recommendation of maestro Salvo Legname, who curated the soundtrack for the film.
