The Teatro delle Arti in Gallarate, located in Via Don Minzoni, 5, will be the stage for an extraordinary evening on Thursday 4 July 2024, at 8:30 pm. The event, entitled “Centro Espressione Musicale Music Meeting: 29 Years of Music Together”, celebrates the twenty-ninth year of activity of the Centro Espressione Musicale (CEM) of Gallarate with a concert that promises to be much more than a simple end-of-year show.
With an entrance ticket of only 5 euros, the audience will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a 360-degree musical experience. The evening will feature performances from a variety of musical genres, including rock, pop, jazz, reggae, metal, hip-hop, rap, classical, folk, bossa nova and tango, reflecting the inclusive and diverse philosophy that has characterized CEM’s 29 years of activity.
Il Gallarate Musical Expression Center is not just a music school, but a true point of reference for music lovers of all ages. In its nearly six decades of activity, it has seen thousands of students pass through, offering courses that range across the most diverse musical genres. Furthermore, CEM is known for its advanced and specialized courses in modern music, which attract students from various regions of Northern Italy.
The director in charge of the center, the musician Max De Aloe, enthusiastically expresses the goal of the CEM: “The challenge that we set ourselves every year with my teachers is precisely that of being able to transform the single lesson of each student on his or her own musical instrument into experience and ability to subsequently channel into playing together with others. Making music together is a great form of growth. It is a magical experience. We work for months in preparation for this concert and, the most beautiful thing, is to ensure that after years this event has become an important meeting for music for many in the province of Varese.”
Max De Aloe also underlines the importance of this event as a moment of production and listening to music, far from the logic of talent shows and competitions. “Our work is far from the logic of talent shows and competitions and I think that those who have followed us for years know how to appreciate it. Our attention to Culture is intended as an experience of growth and sharing and not as an event of spectacularization for its own sake.”
