Cgil referendum on work, Tuesday 2 July will be the Firma Day, a day of extraordinary mobilization throughout Tuscany to collect signatures. There will be stalls to sign in many places in the region, squares, markets, hospitals, factories, workplaces (you can also sign online at the link www.cgil.it/referendum). In Tuscany, about 70 thousand signatures have been collected so far, you can sign until 25 July the questions that ask for more protected and dignified work (cancelling the rules of the Jobs Act on failure to reinstate and caps on compensation in the presence of illegitimate dismissals), more stable (cancelling the liberalization of fixed-term contracts), more secure (cancelling the rule that excludes the joint liability of the contracting companies in the contract and subcontract, in the event of injury and occupational disease of the worker)

THE 4 QUESTIONS IN DETAIL
Question 1 “Protected Work”
Objective: to give all workers the right to reinstatement in the workplace in the event of unlawful dismissal. What do they want to cancel? The rules on dismissals in the Jobs Act that allow companies not to reinstate a worker who has been unlawfully dismissed if he or she was hired after 2015
Question 2 “Decent Work”
Objective: to increase protection against illegitimate dismissals for workers who work in companies with fewer than fifteen employees. What do you want to delete? The maximum compensation limit in the event of unjustified dismissal in small companies, so that the judge can determine the right compensation without any limit
Question 3 “Stable Work”
Objective: to overcome the precariousness of employment contracts. What do you want to delete? The liberalization of fixed-term contracts to limit their use to specific and temporary reasons
Question 4 “Safe Work”
Objective: To make work safer in the procurement system. What do you want to eliminate?
