PD Participates in Cremona Pride on Saturday 6 July 2024
With a letter to members, the Democratic Party – Province of Cremona invites you to participate in the Cremona Pride which will be held on Saturday 6 July at 3:30 pm starting from Piazza Stradivari.
This event, sponsored by the Municipalities of Cremona and Crema and organized by the Cremona Pride Committee, represents a fundamental moment for our capital and for the entire provincial territory. Cremona Pride is now more necessary than ever to reiterate that all people in the LGBTQIA+ community must have the right and the opportunity to conquer their “place in the world”, even in Cremona, without fear and with immense pride.
The aim of Cremona Pride is to create a shared path, a network that involves all citizens, associations, businesses, political parties, unions, private entities and public institutions, to demonstrate that Cremona is an increasingly inclusive and welcoming community.
Here is the program for the day:
– From 3.30 pm to 4.30 pm: meeting in Piazza Stradivari
– Around 4.30pm: departure of the Cremona Pride procession
– Around 6.30pm: end of the parade in Piazza Stradivari
– Around 6.45pm: speeches by the Organizing Committee and guests
– From 8:00 pm: at Parco Lungo Po Europa there will be the PRIDE PARTY, with the concert of Miss Keta and Big Mama, in collaboration with the “Tanta Roba Festival”. The cost of the ticket to access the concert is €15 + presale rights. The party location can be reached on foot with a 20-minute walk.
We are proud to announce that our Young Democrats will also participate in the parade through the streets of the center of Cremona. We invite you to join us to support this important cause and to celebrate together our commitment to rights and equality. Participating in Cremona Pride means affirming that LGBTQIA+ rights are human rights and that our community is ready to fight for a more equitable and inclusive future.
