CAMPOBASSO. Gal Molise verso il 2000, leader of the European project Digital Plan – Civil Protection Plan Digitalization through Internet of Things Decision Support System based Platform, funded under the Interreg Italy-Croatia cooperation program, will host the launch event of the activities on July 2 and 3, in the conference room of the social incubator “A. Di Lallo” in via Monsignor Bologna, 15 in Campobasso.

The meeting will be attended by the project partners, namely the Maiella National Park, the Municipality of Fermo, the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Agrra – Rural Development Agency of Zadar, the Municipality of Dubrovnik, the University of Split, and Rera – public institution for the coordination and development of Split-Dalmatia.

The Digital Plan project aims to digitize the civil protection plans of municipalities and the emergency plans of public organizations, making them easily usable in case of emergency and accessible to the population, through the creation of a digital platform connected to sensors with “Internet of Things” (IoT) technology, capable of intervening in case of crisis situations such as earthquakes and floods.

On 3 July at 10.15 am, a press conference will be called at the headquarters of Gal Molise circa 2000, via Monsignor Bologna 15, to communicate the project to a wider public, with a view to knowledge and awareness on the issues linked to the digitalisation of civil protection plans.
