A fight until the last second. A victory of heart and mind. This is what the 2024 Coppa Italia Beach Soccer final was, which provided a spectacle with the all-Etna derby between Domusbet.tv and Catania FC. In the end, the trophy was lifted by Angelo D’Amico’s boys who, despite never having been in the lead until the final seconds, fought strenuously to keep the match alive. Then the joy a few seconds from the end was given by the rossazzurro goalkeeper Gean Pietro who found the right angle to beat his colleague Padilha. It ended 4-5 for Catania FC who took home the first trophy in its history.

Kick-off of the last half for DomusBet.tv. In the second minute an opportunity for Catania with a free kick earned by captain Eudin who then takes care of the conversion beating Padilha and leading to the equalizer for Catania FC. In the seventh DomusBet.tv takes the lead again with Be Martins scoring the 4-3. Catania finds an equalizer following a corner kick with Jordan. Catania took the lead in the tenth minute with Camillo’s right-footed shot deflected for a corner by Padilha. The third half ends at 4-4. We go into three-minute extra time.
Second half kick for Catania who immediately tries with Jordan. In the third minute Catania took the lead with Gean Pietro who scored the final overtaking goal from distance. The match ends at 3-4 for the rossozzurri who win their first trophy.
