The councilor at the end-of-season awards ceremony of the University Sports Center of Trieste Trieste, 1 July – “The Region, through its body dedicated to the right to education (Ardis), promotes the activity and growth of the university sports centers of the territory. We consider the opportunity to pursue one’s studies and sporting activity in parallel to be a fundamental theme, cultivating and uniting different talents”. This is what the regional councilor for Education Alessia Rosolen shared while bringing the institutional greeting to the Cus Trieste awards ceremony at the end of the 2023/2024 season. Awards were given to the athletes who recorded the greatest successes on a national and international level and who took part in the Universiade and national championships in the various disciplines. On this occasion, the publication containing all the activities carried out by Cus Trieste in the last year, dedicated to the memory of prof., was also presented. Maurizio Fermeglia, former rector of the University of Trieste from 2013 to 19 and soul of the CUS until his death last February. “The attention of the institutions for the practice of sports is constantly growing for all levels of education – Rosolen recalled in her speech -.
