“On Monday 1st July, and in the southern areas until the early hours of Tuesday 2nd, unstable or at times disturbed weather with rainfall including showers and thunderstorms, first in the mountain and foothill areas and then also on the plains. Thunderstorms will be possible locally intense (heavy showers, strong gusts of wind, local hailstorms)“: this is what the Arpav experts report in relation to the expected weather situation in Veneto in the next few hours. As for the general evolution, the usual bulletin reads: “Between Monday and Tuesday, the transit of a moderate disturbance from the North Atlantic culminates over Italy, followed by a couple of modest troughs on the same trajectory that cause the influx of humid and relatively fresh air to persist; therefore, over Veneto, the period is characterized by alternating between clear spaces and temporarily extended clouds, some phases of precipitation and cooler weather compared to the previous days, wider clearings and a recovery of daytime temperatures from Thursday“.
Today variable weather, locally unstable at times, with thick clouds alternating with clear spaces; scattered rainfall with showers and thunderstorms, more present first in the central-northern areas and then in the central-southern ones; compared to Sunday, generally lower temperatures, slightly in the plains and at least locally more sensitive in the mountains.
According to the weather bulletin from the experts of Arpa Veneto, Tomorrow Variability is expected on the plain, with alternating clear skies and cloud cover.
Precipitation: Scattered phases of showers or thunderstorms, more likely in the early hours on the south-eastern plain and then on the central-northern areas.
Temperatures: Minimum slightly decreasing, maximum slightly increasing in the north-east and stationary or slightly decreasing elsewhere.
Winds: At altitude, at times light and at times moderate, until the afternoon from the northern quadrants and in the evening of variable direction; elsewhere mainly light of variable direction, but with some temporary phases of local moderate strengthening.
Sea: Mostly smooth, at times almost calm along the coast.
Wednesday 3 July mostly very cloudy sky, even overcast until the central hours, after which some clearings are possible especially in the plains towards the end of the day.
Precipitation: Phenomena including showers or thunderstorms, widespread to scattered, especially in mountain areas and high plains, however thinning from the south-east by the end of the day.
Temperatures: Minimum temperatures stable or slightly increasing in the mountain and piedmont areas, maximum temperatures decreasing; elsewhere minimum temperatures moderately decreasing especially in the southern part of the hinterland, maximum temperatures slightly decreasing except for local stability on the coast.
Winds: Light or moderate at altitude, with prevailing direction until the morning from the western quadrants and then from the northern ones; in the valleys, light with variable direction; on the coast mostly moderate from the northern quadrants, from the north-east also strong in the morning; elsewhere until mid-day light to moderate north-easterly, then light with variable direction.
Sea: Slightly rough to temporarily rough.
Thursday 4th slight variability, with clear spaces more prevalent in the plains and at times a little more clouds in the mountains; some local precipitation cannot be ruled out, especially in mountainous areas, generally modest except for occasional showers or thunderstorms; minimum temperatures on the coast without notable variations and elsewhere slightly decreasing, maximum temperatures increasing.
Finally, according to the weather forecasts of the Arpa Veneto experts, Friday 5th modest variability, with more persistent clear spaces in the plains and at times a few clouds, especially in the mountains; some precipitation is possible, mostly in the mountain and foothill areas, generally modest except for occasional showers or thunderstorms; for minimum temperatures, limited local variations in the mountains and moderate increases are expected; maximum temperatures rising.
