Il Bologna FC 1909 announces that it has entrusted the Primavera bench to Claudio Rivaltawho signed a contract until June 30, 2026 with option for an additional season.
Rivalta, born in Ravenna on 30 June 1978, celebrated his 46th birthday yesterday. Raised in the youth team of Cesena, the club with which he made his debut in the professional world in the 1995-1996 season, he later became a cornerstone. After leaving Romagna, he moved to Perugia, Vicenza, Bergamo, Turin and La Spezia, where he ended his career as a footballer. With the blue shirt he also boasts the victory of the Under 21 European Championships in Slovakia in 2000.
He began coaching in the youth sector (Giovanissimi and Primavera) of the Cesena – under the guidance of the current head of the rossoblù Base Activities, Luigi Piangerelli – until 2018, in the summer of which he moved to Spal. With the Este team, the climb from Under 15 is interrupted in Under 17 because in 2022 the call comes from the Juventusa club that entrusted him first with the Under 16s and, in the last season, with the Under 17s.
