LIVORNO. First of July. From today the new sports season begins, from today all old contracts expire and new agreements can be made official.
Turning point week
Livorno will do the same throughout this week. Yes, because these days many players are on vacation and therefore in these days they will arrive a little bit by bit to Piazzale Montello to put down on paper the agreement reached with the amaranto club. Expecting all the official announcements today would be impossible, but as we have told you, Livorno already has a good number of agreements on the table and is working to close two more at a high level.
One is Federico Russo, who has long been at the top of the Indians’ wish list while the new one is midfielder Zaccaria Hamlili.
The new name
Born in 1991, a skilled midfielder with excellent technique, Hamlili (born in Brescia) played last season with Monopoli in Serie C, where he made 28 appearances. He spent two and a half years in black and green, seasons in which he was able to increase his tally of over 300 appearances among the professionals.
He also had experiences in the category with Bari, Gubbio, Entella, Forlì and Ancona, as well as Pistoiese where he was coached by Paolo Indiani. Central midfielder who can play in the two in the case of an even midfield with a more physical player alongside him, or as a low top in the case of a three-man midfield.
The negotiation is at a very advanced stage (they are working on the last details) and Livorno will try in these hours to close to secure the services of the 1991-born player.
The exact same thing goes for the attacking midfielder Federico Russo. The next forty-eight hours will be crucial for the future of the former San Donato player in amaranth. As we told you, the parties have been in contact for days and the agreement is almost total.
Here too, there are some final details to be resolved and, if everything goes as planned, Livorno will be able to announce their super signing of the summer.
Official announcement expected
In addition to these two additions that Livorno will try to close between today and tomorrow, there are all the other agreements that the Amaranth club has already had in its pocket for days. Let’s start with the confirmations of Andrea Luci, Giulio Giordani and Duccio Brenna to which will be added that of Filippo Bellini and there are some evaluations on Rossetti who day after day is closer and closer to permanence.
In addition to these, agreements will be signed with the side born in 2005 Mattia Turini and the one born in 2004 Alberto Arcuri. Everything was also done for the central Giacomo Risaliti and the attacker Vieri Regoli, without forgetting the attacking midfielder Riccardo Capparella.
On the other hand, as anticipated in recent days, Daniele Bartolini’s move to Real Forte dei Marmi Querceta in Eccellenza is a done deal. The 1995 born player returns to the club from which Livorno took him. For him, and for the entire Amaranth environment, there remains the enormous regret of an injury that undoubtedly ruined the opportunity of a lifetime.
