Deep condolences in the world of credit and associations of the capital and the province for the death of Giuseppe Nobile, which occurred in recent days at the Borgomanero hospital. Having turned seventy-eight last March 23, Nobile had been a bank official, and then, once retired, approached the world of associations.
Together with Senator Ezio Leonardi he was one of the promoters of the birth of the Novarese Community Foundation, of which he held the position of general secretary and then vice president for years, trying, despite the progression of his illness in recent times, to never miss any of the most important public moments until the very end, starting from the annual ceremony of the “Benemeriti della solidarietà” on the eve of the Patronal Feast of San Gaudenzio.
Nobile, we read in a note from the Fondazione Comunità Novarese with which the president Davide Maggi, the Board of Directors and all the staff join in the family’s pain, “has dedicated tireless commitment and constant attention to our institution until the end and an immeasurable affection, deeply reciprocated by all of us.”
His political and administrative commitment to the territory was also appreciated, in particular in Revislate, a hamlet of the municipality of Gattico Veruno, in the ranks of the Democratic Party, where he was also secretary of the local “Alta Meja” club. Nobile leaves behind his wife and a daughter. The date of the funeral has not yet been set, which will be held in Revislate.
