Let’s take a look at PizzaCon 2024 in Bergamo, including numbers and special guests.
The encore does not disappoint: in the wake of last year’s first edition, the COMICON has doubled in the Orobic land with a corner dedicated to the leavened discoidal product par excellence – the PizzaCon, precisely, a thematic (and themed) area created by GaragePizza with the support of Dissapore.
The question arises spontaneously: how did it go, then? Were they cinque, as we already told you in due time, the pizzerias who worked and took part in COMICON Bergamo from 21st to 23rd June, even and above all under the rain and hail that stained Friday and Sunday, all united under the banner of a double offer already tested: a Margherita, physiological and in a certain sense obligatory presence, and a Special Pizza instead created specifically for the event.
PizzaCon between numbers and celebrities
So, enough of the chit-chat; and to evaluate more accurately the result of this second Bergamo chapter, let’s leave room for the numbers, with one figure above all that helps us to give substance to the actual size of COMICON 2024: thirty-five thousand visitors – an increase compared to last year, despite the weather not being at all clement – with thousands of pizzas baked.
Then, there was no shortage of special guests who wanted to take the opportunity to learn about pizza formats other than the traditional: this is the case, for example, of Troy Baker, star di The Last of Us e Indiana Jones who tried one for the first time wallet pizza.
