Just over two weeks and the Taranto Jazz Festival reaches five, now one of the usual events of the Taranto summer which will be staged from 18 to 21 July at the Villa Peripato Arena in Taranto.

An “experimental” edition, not only jazz, but that will touch on singer-songwriter music, blues, country and much more. It starts on Thursday 18 July with Chiara Civello, a Roman multi-instrumentalist on tour exactly ten years after the release of “Canzoni” (Sony Music), a very important album for her career, a tribute in jazz style from Sergio Endrigo to Umberto Bindi, from Pino Donaggio to Paolo Conte, Vinicio Capossela and Vasco Rossi.

On Friday 19 July, after the first edition of the festival, Tosca returns, this time as a sextet, “La Bella Estate” is the name of the tour that celebrates her thirty-year career. A concert that will contain all the warmth and energy, bringing already known songs to the stage alongside new ones.

Saturday 20th July, for the first time in the city of Taranto, comes one of the most loved and discussed musicians of the Italian scene, Marco Castoldi aka Morgan.
