Manfredonia, new coup: Paolo Carbonaro remains

The striker Paolo Carbonaro will wear the Manfredonia Calcio 1932 shirt also in the 2024/2025 season which starts today, Monday 1st July.

The Sicilian striker born in ’89 himself announced the agreement with the Biancoceleste club of owner Gianni Rotice with a video message that ignites the historic Siponto football square.

Carbonaro, who arrived in November 2023, was a key element in the direct salvation achieved last Serie D championship, with great performances made up of a lot of running and sacrifices across the entire pitch in 21 appearances, accompanied by 5 goals and 1 assist.

“I am happy and satisfied to stay in Manfredonia, an important and warm football place, with an ambitious and exciting sports project – says Carbonaro -. I thank the club, the owner Gianni Rotice, the Ds Scuotto and Mister Cinque for their trust and esteem towards me. The attacker will bring experience and substance to Manfredonia Calcio from the height of his important football career, which saw him play with important results in famous places at a national level.

Raised in the Palermo youth academy with which he made his debut in Serie A (18/05/2008 Palermo-Siena 1-1), Carbonaro, before arriving in Manfredonia in November 2023, made around 400 appearances in total between Serie C and Serie D (over to those with the U18, U19 and U20 national teams) and around 100 goals divided between Giulianova, Messina, Venezia, Monopoli, Caratese, Gela, Catanzaro, Alto Vicentino, Monza, Cavese, Acireale, Trapani, Hinterreggio, Vigor Lamezia and Aversa Normanna.
