The Rimini director Andrea Ciavatta won the New York Movie Awards, Paris Film Awards, London Movie Awards, Florence Film Awards, Milan Gold Awards with his new short ‘Imprinting’ and was recently selected at the Lift Off Global Network, an international event organized inside Pinewood Studios, the legendary studios of James Bond 007.

The short film is currently screening at the prestigious Lumiere Cinema in Beverly Hills (Los Angeles), having been selected for the Oscar qualifying program of Voce Spettacolo, an Italian film production and distribution company operating in Los Angeles, founded by Walter Nicoletti, a member of the Hollywood Creative Alliance and the European Film Academy.

The new work by the Romagna director and producer is a personal exploration of memory, identity and human connection, told through a visually extraordinary narrative. The film was written by Ciavatta himself with Leo Barbato (also director of photography), while the digital production design was by Daniele and Samuele Ramberti. The cast, in addition to the author-actor-director, includes Enea Barbato, Chiara Ciavatta (Andrea’s sister), Anastasiia Dombrovska, Aldo Ciavatta (Andrea’s father), Carlo Grotti Trevisan, Carla Cappelli, Martina Maggiore.

“It’s a great honor to see ‘Imprinting’ screened in Hollywood and to have the opportunity to participate in the Oscar-qualifying program,” Ciavatta said, “because it represents a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team that contributed to the creation of the work. To be recognized by such important festivals and to have the possibility of qualifying for the Oscars is an immense honor. I hope that our short can continue to thrill audiences overseas.”
